Arizona Democrats Aren’t Happy With Biden. What Now?
This has been, by far, the weirdest election cycle in my lifetime. It really seems like, for the first time, no one wants to vote for either candidate.
We saw something similar in 2020, with the far-right voting Trump and the far-left voting Biden. Centrists who wanted a compromise were left in the dust, and now Biden is coming up on re-election, and it doesn't look good for him.
His allies in Arizona are losing confidence.
Losing the Swing
Arizona was one of the most vital states in deciding the 2020 election, and if the Dems want even a slight chance to turn the desert blue, they need unequivocal support of the Commander in Chief. They don't have it.
The wave started when U.S. Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) called for Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. This comes just in time with multiple Democrats across the country calling for Biden to step down.

The Problem is Getting Hard to Ignore
The Democrats have been running around like a chicken with their head cut off since the first debate, mostly due to the very obvious issue that Mr. President isn't all there mentally. At almost every public appearance in the past year, his age has become more and more of a glaring issue.
July 11th saw another example of this, when Biden took the stage for a press conference an hour late. Democrats probably wished he had missed the press conference, because it did nothing but confirm that he is not fit to run the most powerful country on earth.
Arizona Congressman Greg Stanton hopped off the Biden barge at the right moment it seems, as he's become the latest to call for Biden's resignation in favor of pushing a new candidate.
Whether it's Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsome, Chuck Schumer, or literally anyone else, the Dems need to step their game up, the question is, will they?
