Recently, Re/Max released a list of the most envied cities to live in in the country, based on around 3,000 survey answers. Arizona has five within the top-100, with a few standing out further than the rest. Ahwatukee Foothills ranked in as the lowest in the state at Number 89, while Tucson's Oro Valley ranked in at Number 72.

Cave Creek, came in right at the center at Number 50, making waves for its small population, western flair, and numerous outdoor activities. But it's nowhere near the most envied in the Grand Canyon State.

Arizona's Cities That You Have To Live In

Coming in at Number 26 is one of Arizona's swankiest neighborhoods: Paradise Valley. This is the richest city in Arizona, where CEOs, professional athletes, and massive celebrities live in decadence. The median household income is around $221,000, and almost every community is gated. No wonder why everyone wants to live there.

The highest on the list at Number 22 nationally is North Scottsdale. Its art scene, culture, location, and scenery make it not only one of the most envied cities in Arizona, but one of the most envied in America.
