They're all safe, fun metropolitan areas that offer good education, and plenty of things to do to keep you and your family occupied.
Ranking in a bit higher are Chandler (#17) and Scottsdale (#13), which both have an incredibly high socio-economic rank, as well as excellent activities, good schools, and a safe environment, pushing them higher on the list.

Gilbert is the 12th most affordable city to raise a family in in America, and has the fifth highest socio-economic rank. Gilbert is also the 20th safest city, and has the 43rd best education system in the U.S. Not too shabby.
While any city can become a home with the right people in it, if you need the best bang for your buck, you've gotta go Gilbert.
