Arizona’s Celebration of Country Music
Country music is an American staple. It reminds us of our small hometowns and the nights we spent with friends around the bonfire. Unlike any other genre, country finds itself most popular in a certain region of the country: The South.
While Arizona isn't quite the Appalachian south that is mainly sung about, its place in the Southwest makes it the perfect place to appreciate the music cowboys might listen to as they roam the modern streets.
What is the Country Thunder Music Festival
There may be no better place to listen to country music than in Arizona, and Country Thunder knows that. The music festival is a four day event in Florence, AZ that hosts some of the biggest names in country.
The event runs from Thursday, April 11th to Sunday, April 14th, with huge names every night. The music starts at 2 p.m. daily and runs to 10 p.m. with the exception of Sunday, which will conclude at 9 p.m. Buy Tickets HERE
Can I Camp at the Festival?
Like any great, multi-day music festival, camping is not just available, but encouraged. There are multiple options for those wanting to stay on site the whole weekend, from sites you have to set up yourself to Glamping, which adds beds and extra comfort across your site for the best possible experience. If you plan on staying the weekend, a camping pass is going to be your best friend.
The Life of the (After) Party
Once the music ends, don't go anywhere, because one of Nashville's hottest DJs will be hosting an after party on the grounds every night. DJ Griffin Green will be keeping the party going late into the night to make sure you get the most out of your tickets.
