Unfortunately, the area's gotten more and more dangerous over the years, and one incident has the feds swarming this once idyllic city.

Tucson is the Bomb... Literally

On June 13th, 2025, a horrifying discovery was made in Pima county. An Improvised Explosive Device, or IED for short, was found just outside of the city. In the next few days, two more were unearthed at Parque del Sol in Sahuarita.

The bombs were described as being around four to six inches long and around two inches wide. Bomb squad was shortly on the scene, and the weapons were removed without much trouble. Now, the FBI and ATF have descended upon the city to determine what's going on.

What Does This Mean?

For the time being, no correlation has been found between the IEDs. Based on their construction, however, it's likely all three come from the same source. What these bombs could have been used for is anyone's guess, but the Feds are hot on the trail to discover an answer.

For the time being, Pima County has asked everyone in the area to report any suspicious packages they may see or come across. Any information can be sent to the tip line at 88-CRIME (520-882-7463). Any information leading to an arrest can bear a cash reward, so stay alert and stay safe.
