Arizona Man Kept A Dead Body In His Home For Years
Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is one of the defining films of the horror genre. The story follows a woman who finds herself in the Bates Motel, before being stalked and terrorized by its owner, Norman.
The major twist at the end (SPOILERS) is that he's kept his mother's corpse locked up in the hotel, and she whispers homicidal thoughts to her son, or at least he thinks she does.
Looks like Arizona has its very own Norman Bates.
FREEZE!
In late October, Arizona resident Joseph Hill was arrested and a bond set at $25,000. Why? Well, on October 22nd, a tip was given to Tempe police about suspicious activity. They noticed a freezer, covered in tarps and blankets in Hill's backyard, that they believed to be hiding something nefarious.
When the police arrived to the premises, they were turned away from the fridge, as there was no probable cause. When they returned with a Warrant, however, everything flipped on its head. When told police had a warrant, Hill's attitude changed, and ominously told the officers they'd finding SOMETHING in the freezer.
When the cooling unit was opened, police found what they were fearing, his father's four-year-old corpse.

Why Keep Your Father in a Freezer?
After Hill's arrest, the story began to come to light. Police were initially confused, as Hill's father was never reported dead, but Hill had a lot to do with that.
As the story goes, Hill's father, Joseph Hill Sr., passed away in 2020, and Hill planned to bury him around that time. He bought the fridge as a makeshift coffin, and planned to bury him at a plot of land in Strawberry. Unfortunately, things began to unravel there, as Hill realized his Father's name was on the deed, and not his. For fear of losing his home, he decided to keep his father's death a secret.
After his homes in Tempe and Strawberry were damaged due to fires, he began to move the corpse-laden freezer around the state for a few years, until we reach where we are today.
