Arizona Is Helping Our Most Lonely Feel The Love
Every year on February 14th, we gather together with our loved ones to celebrate the powerful, permeating power of love. Whether your romantic partner, best friend, or family, it's a time to show those closest to you how much they mean in your life.
Unfortunately, not everyone has someone on the day of love, but one Arizona organization is doing everything they can to share the love regardless.
Valentines Day Isn't Fun For Everyone
While many of you will be spending V-Day with the love of your life, there's many who may never have that chance again. Many seniors in the golden years of their life have lost those close to them, leaving the 14th as a saddening reminder as opposed to a joyous celebration.
This isolation can permeate through every moment of life, leaving many seniors feeling depressed and alone, especially on holidays. No one deserves to be alone on Valentines Day, and one Arizona organization agrees.

Senior Valentines Day Card Drive
In order to bring some light into a dark time, Senior Helpers of Gilbert & Chandler have devised a highly successful program. The Senior Valentines Day Card Drive will be entering its third year of helping seniors feel less alone through the holiday.
It's incredibly easy to join the cause, just drop off a store-bought or homemade Valentines Day card, and drop it off at the Senior Helpers Office, located on warner and Alma School roads. Cards must be in by February seventh, so workers have enough time to get your messages out to our friends in Maricopa County! :)
