Los Angeles Needs A Miracle, Arizona’s Giving It To Them
The past few days have been some of the worst in the history of Los Angeles, California. What started as a routine, yet nerve-wracking wildfire, has turned into an inferno, covering much of Los Angeles County in flames.
The fire's raged for days, and it shows no sign of slowing. California's called for any help available to mitigate the damage, and Arizona's happy to lend a hand.
How Bad is the Fire?
It's bad. Like, apocalypse bad. The blaze has overtaken over 20,000 acres of land, and destroyed countless historical monuments. In total, over 2,000 structures have been completely erased from the landscape, and 130,000 Los Angeles residents are being given evacuation orders.
Five have already died from the fires, and Los Angeles Fire Department has been working tirelessly to ensure that number doesn't move again. They'll need all the help that they can get and their eastern neighbor is doing everything they can.

Arizona Firefighters Lend a Helping Hand
As a state bordering California, Arizona knew it needed to step in. As soon as they knew they'd need to step in, two task forces from the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management were sent to provide aid.
Phoenix Fire Captain Todd Keller has alluded to an escalation of their aid. Depending on how the situation plays out, they may activate Arizona Task Force 1. This is part of a nationwide initiative for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Urban Search and Rescue Program, which will be vital in saving as many people as humanly possible.
Arizona is not expected to see any excess smoke, as the ashes are being carried out west to the Pacific.
