
Football, Fires, And Phoenix: Arizona Gives L.A. A New Home
The past week has been horrific for the citizens of Los Angeles. Fires have swept through the city, killing dozens and displacing hundreds of thousands from the lives they've built.
At times like these, it's hard to find hope, but the Grand Canyon State, bordering California, has done all they can to help the victims and refugees.
Playoff Football in the Midst of Disaster
Monday, January 13th was meant to be a celebratory day for Los Angeles. Their hometown Rams were set to take on the Minnesota Vikings, and were primed for an upset. The fires raging their way through Los Angeles changed that, however.
As the day approached, it became clear that So-Fi Stadium, home of the Rams, would not be suitable for a game hosting thousands of people, and a business decision was made. They needed a friend.

The Arizona Cardinals to the Rescue!
The call for aid reached the Valley of the Sun, and Arizona was happy to answer. Not only would they allow the Rams to use State Farm Stadium as their home stadium for the night, they did everything they could to help the grieving L.A. Fans.
The Cardinals spared no expense, offering two planes, busses, practice facilities, and more to help this feel more like home for the Rams. While Glendale sits just under six hours away from the City of Angles, thousands of Rams fans, cheerleaders, and even their mascot, made the trip, and helped support the Rams to a 27-9 upset win against the Vikings.
