State Of The Art Taco Bell Coming To Sierra Vista
There's no fast food restaurant quite like Taco Bell. It welcomes everyone in its doors, whether you want a quick and cheap lunch, or you're desperately looking for a meal at 2am.
Sierra Vista's bastion of cheesy, seasoned goodness has closed its doors, but something much better is coming in its place.
Goodbye Taco Bell
At 10am on August 28th, the Taco bell at the intersection of Fry and Highway 90 began its demolition. They started off symbolically, tearing down the massive Bell icon at the front of the building. The Boys and Girls Club of Sierra Vista showed up for moral support, and the press (including yours truly) were on the scene to capture every moment.
The building came down in a crunch before they wrapped. Supreme.

The Future of Taco Bell in Sierra Vista
Fear not burrito lovers! While the Taco Bell on Fry has been demolished, you won't be without your Crunchwraps and Nacho Fries for long. I was lucky enough to speak with owners Todd and Tim Bisbocci who filled me in on their plans moving forward.
They informed me that all staff at the Fry Taco Bell will be moved to their secondary location at 3466 Canyon De Flores as their new project begins.
What's the new project? I'm so glad you asked. The Taco Bell of the Future. Todd and Tim discussed their new state-of-the-art project will involve a larger, more modern look, as well as a new vestibule that delivery drivers and mobile orders will be able to enter through. This will allow drive-thru to operate much much faster, and will clear out the waiting area for dine-in customers. This is only the third instance of this design in the world, with the second also being helmed by the Bisbocci brothers in Tucson.
They expect construction on the new building, located in the same place the old Taco Bell was, to last six months, and hope to open in early February 2025.
