Why Arizona Is One Of The Best States To Buy A Home In
As a twentysomething in America right now, I've kind of resigned myself to the fact that I'll never buy a house, and if I do, it'll be WAYYYYYYYY later down the line.
Luckily for me, though, I live in Arizona! It's widely considered one of the best places to buy a first home and start a family, and now we've got the numbers to prove it.
The Hottest Place to Buy in Arizona
Recently, Opendoor released their survey results on the hottest ZIP codes for homebuyers in America, and Arizona made quite the splash. While Texas and Florida were the largest hotspots, the Grand Canyon State was certainly well represented.
Maricopa, specifically ZIP code 85138, ranked at 18th nationally for homebuyers, just above Ocala, FL. This does make sense, as it sits right on the border of the Phoenix Metro Area, with places like Tempe, and Glendale just a short drive away, making it the perfect place to settle down for young homebuyers.

The Hidden Gem of Arizona
Maricopa's not the only area in Arizona that's caught the eyes of homebuyers. The survey also included a list of "hidden gems", and one Arizona city has been turning heads in that category.
That would, of course, be Tucson's 85716 area. Tucson is a city that many have begun to move to to start a new life, especially in the past few years, making this an obvious addition. The amount it's overlooked for places like Phoenix and L.A. just add to thee charm of this quirky southern city.
