Arizona is a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and creativity, which has led to one of the most unique culinary spaces in the world.

Not every creation can be a hit though, and sometimes culinary creativity shows us that there might be a limit to what you can imagine.

Cardinals Unveil New Stadium Foods

Stadium food is a quintessential part of any gameday experience. Whether you're chowing down on a hot dog at a D-Backs game or shoving wings in your mouth as you watch the Cardinals lose another game, the (far too expensive) treats have ingrained themselves in sporting culture.

These days, stadiums are trying to one-up each other with the craziest food concoction. Smores Hot Fries, Milkshakes covered in Nacho Cheese, you name it, some ballpark has thought of it.

As we head into the 2024 football season, State Farm Stadium has unveiled the newest foods coming to Cardinals games, and one stands above the rest.

The Cotton Candy Burrito

Unfortunately, you read that right. Among the dozens of new dishes making their way to Cardinals games this year is the most unholy concoction of food ever imagined.

The build is quite simple: take ice cream and assorted candies, mix them together, and then wrap it all up in a coat of cotton candy. That means that this is essentially a big ball of sugar, and I doubt that's going to end well in the Arizona heat.

The meal (if you can even call it that) has already garnered massive attention on social media, and while most are disgusted at this display of hedonism, everyone seems curious as to what this could possibly taste like.

Guess I'll have to take a trip to State Farm Stadium this season and see for myself.
