
Summer Camps in Cochise County You Can Check Out This Year!
Summer is a time when kids get out of school, the air gets warm, and parents have to find something to do. With the school year out, and students needing summer activities, what opportunities are in Cochise County? Here are 3 local summer camps for every type of kid.

Dinosaur Camp
Dinosaur Camp is a 4-day summer camp in the Mall at Sierra Vista. This summer camp is hosted by The Southern Arizona Museum of Science and Technology and will give students ages 6-12 a chance to learn about the prehistoric animals that once resided in Arizona.
This camp takes place in early June, and campers will get to look at real fossils. You can register your child for this summer camp here. Parrens are welcome to accompany their students!

Theater Camp
Every Year the Sierra Vista Community Theater hosts a youth summer camp for youth under the age of 18. This summer camp is 6 days long, with a series of lessons and workshops, followed by a showcase on Saturday.
This camp takes place towards the end of June, and students get to learn a variety of things, such as fight choreography, auditioning, character analysis, tech, costumes, and so much more. If you have a kid who wants to learn about theater, but isn't ready to jump on stage yet, or just wants to learn more, this camp would be great for them.

Cochise College
Cochise College also offers a series of youth summer camps. Students interested in robotics, pottery, entrepreneurship, culinary, and more. Dates are different for each subject, but all take place in the month of June.
