Return of the Turkey Vultures

Every March, Bisbee celebrates the return of the turkey vultures with a huge event. These birds migrate every year, and during March, they make their way back home to Cochise County. This city-wide event takes place the second weekend of March and has been around since 1991!

The event features watching live vultures, games for kids, and, in traditional Bisbee fashion, there is a parade where everyone dresses up as vultures. All bird lovers will have a place at this event, so if you want to see our feathered friends make their landing in Cochise County, check it out!
