A Walk Through Historic Tombstone

Most of the tourist attractions in Tombstone, such as visiting the Bird Cage Theater or the Courthouse, require a fee. However, if you are ever looking for a fun and free activity, walking down Allen St., visiting the park, and exploring the historic storefronts is a great, free option to keep you entertained.

What makes this trip special is that so much of Tombstone's character lives outside the pay-to-enter attractions. From the dusty boardwalks to carriages and old-time signs that help create an atmosphere only found in the southwest.

Bisbee's art district

Bisbee, Arizona, is home to tons of beautiful art murals. If you are ever bored and want to walk through a free street museum, Bisbee is the place to go. Bisbee is also home to other types of art as well, like the Copper Man Statue. This statue sits at the edge of Naco Rd. and welcomes visitors while reminding us of Bisbee's history as a copper mining hotspot.

If you have an hour or two with nothing to do and want to take a trip through one-of-a-kind art murals, stop by Bisbee and see where the color leads you. Whether you're going up staircases or taking the main road, you may discover parts of town you've never seen before!

San Pedro Hike

The San Pedro River is a very important part of our ecosystem, and it is free to explore! Whether you are hiking, bird watching, or having a picnic, the San Pedro Riparian Area offers a great source of entertainment for every kind of person. Cottonwoods tower over the river, and tons of migratory birds fly in to rest, and the smell of nature fills your lungs.

These free trails can be found in 3 major places: The Hereford Bridge, the San Pedro House off Highway 90, and the gorgeous trails near Charleston Rd. If you are ever looking for a free activity, the San Pedro River offers a quiet, shady place to unwind and spend time with yourself and people you care about.
