Phoenix Native To Host Innovative New Game Show
Every time I feel like network television has run out of ideas for new game shows, they prove me wrong. From singing and talent competitions, to Lego building challenges and cooking shows, television has graced us with any kind of reality television we could hope to watch.
A new show has just hit the air, and Phoenix sits at the heart of it.
Jordin Sparks Returns
In 2007, Jordin Sparks captured the hearts and eyes of America. She took the stage for the sixth season of American Idol in 2007, and to her surprise, won the whole thing. Sparks was the youngest winner of the show at the time, and her career instantly skyrocketed.
Sparks is a Phoenix native. In her youth, she won "Best Young Artist" in Arizona three years in a row. Her early days were spent hanging around Phoenix and Glendale doing just two things, singing and roller blading.

Roller Jam
Now, Sparks is headed back to the screen to share her other passion! She'll be the host of the new HBO game show: Roller Jam. The show follows teams of skaters from across the United States as they complete different skate-based challenges for a chance to win $150,000, as well as a $10,000 donation to the roller rink of their choice.
Sparks will be the face of it all, as she gets to take her passion for Roller Skating to the masses of America in hopes to get them off of their couches, and into the rink.
The show airs every Thursday on HBO.
