Open House at the Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center
The Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center has been serving Sierra Vista and Cochise County for 15 years. To celebrate, they're hosting an Open House coming up this weekend.
If you don't have a date for Valentine's Day, why not find the love of your life at the Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center? Bring your family and help the shelter celebrate their 15th anniversary.
During the Open House, they'll have adoption specials, and don't forget to check in with Rambo's Rummage Sale. Named after long-time resident Rambo who used to hang out in the front office of the center, Rambo's Rummage Sale features donated, lightly used or new pet items like leashes, collars, dog and cat beds, and often a few cages perfect for rabbits and other small animals. The selection varies, and it's always a good idea to get there early.
RAMBO'S RUMMAGE SALE
Rambo's Rumage Sale never has prices attached to the items in the sale. Select an item and when you check out, make a donation in any amount you think. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Sierra Vista Animal Shelter.
The Open House will also provide refreshments, and don't miss the kissing booth! Arleen visited K101 on Thursday, our weekly Pawsday segment. She brought two adorable puppies, and you can meet them yourself at the Puppy Kissing Booth on Saturday.
There will be a special appearance by Run Dogz Run, providing exercise on a special doggy treadmill to the shelter's dogs.
This is a family friendly event and it's free and open to the public. Find out more about adopting an animal from the Nancy J Brua Animal Care Center on Facebook or give them a call at (520) 458-4151.
