Arizona’s Largest Export Is SHOCKING
Arizona is a vital state to the U.S. economy. Our capitol city, Phoenix, is a hub of economic enterprise, and helps not only the state, but the country move forward.
There are so many growing industries within our borders, but one takes the cake as our largest export, and it's likely not the one you'd expect.
What You'd Expect
When I sought out the answer to this question, I figured it could only be one thing: Agriculture. They always say Arizona's the land of the five C's: Copper, Cattle, Cotton Citrus, and Climate. With three of these being agricultural, you'd expect these to be our largest exports.
Arizona averages around $1.5 Billion in agricultural exports per year, which is good, but still a fraction of the $32.2 Billion in total exports. So where's the bulk of this number being made up?

The Long-Lost Sixth C
Turns out, there's a sixth C in Arizona, and it's been right under our noses. That would be "Computer's". Technically, it's Computers and Electronic products, which make up Arizona's largest export, accounting for $9.9 Billion of our total goods export.
This was shocking at first, until I remembered the billions of dollars being poured into microchip processing plants across the state. These have become a massive part of Arizona's economy and job market, so it would make sense the goods they're producing would be a major part of our exports. With those, Arizona is the 20th largest exporter of state goods in America.
