Halloween's just a few days away, and kids all across the country are putting finishing touches on their costumes before they head out to gather enough free candy to make even Augustus Gloop jealous.

Trick-or-Treating is the highlight of every Halloween, and even as you grow older, it never loses its luster.

Adults may find their door-to-door antics limited this year.

Which Cities Have Trick-or-Treating Age Restrictions?

If you're looking to stock up your candy drawer long after the nest is empty, most places across the U.S. welcome you with open arms. Unfortunately, there's a few Debbie Downers that still believe Halloween is for the kids.

Cities like:

  • Chesapeake, Virginia
  • Charleston, South Carolina
  • Belleville, Illinois

These cities all hold marginally different reasons, but the end product is the same. Chesapeake, for example, limits trick-or-treating to kids 14 and under, with those over that age being hit with a Class 4 Misdemeanor.

Does Arizona Have an Age Limit?

Luckily, Arizona has no such limit on its trick-or-treaters. There are, however, some precautions every costumed crusader should take heed of before the big day.

Make sure to clear the roads, especially if cars are present. Many cities across the Grand Canyon State have set time limits for those out on Halloween night, and while they're not hard-and-fast rules, they're a good rule of thumb to keep. Tucson, for example, recommends hitting the streets between five and seven PM, while Sedona stretches that to eight PM.

No matter what your plans are this Halloween, make sure to stay safe, take care of one another, and most importantly, have fun!
