Mysterious Purple Orbs

Back in 2013, a strange discovery was made in the Arizona wilderness—a puddle of hundreds of jelly-filled orbs. A photographer and her husband discovered these orbs while on a trip to take some photos in Vail. Some people had suspected these orbs were some kind of fungus, growing after a big rain.

It was also suspected that they were some kind of man-made orb, like Orbees or plant watering orbs. An Emu Named Frank

An Emu named Frank from Cottonwood, Arizona, had escaped his home in 2025 and was reported running through traffic and attacking people in a Walmart parking lot. Cottonwood police Department received numerous 911 calls about an aggressive emu on the loose, and rushed to the scene.

Emus can run up to 30 miles an hour, and a low-speed chase was conducted as Frank avoided authorities. It took two days for them to finally catch the bird. The Emu was eventually apprehended when officers learned that emus cannot walk backwards. Frank was then cornered, detained, and returned to his home in Cottonwood safely.
