The Best Fairs In The State Of Arizona
As the summer rolls through Arizona, you're likely to spend most of your time inside, A/C blasting, and water on hand to try and avoid the brutal heat as much as possible.
If you do want to get outside though, Arizona's county fairs are the place to be, and today we're counting down the top-five according to World Atlas.
Northern Arizona Fairs
Northern Arizona has a massive selection of state fairs to tickle your fancy. Starting off with the Maricopa County Fair, open from April 3rd to 12th. As the most populous county in Arizona, there's obviously tons to do, from rides to food to performances.
Coconino County's in Flagstaff is another must-visit, with typical fair attractions backdropped with beautiful weather and scenic mountain views from August 29th to September 1st.. Lastly, the Navajo County Fair in Holbrook offers a familiar, slower-paced fair, attracting thousands every year from September 10th to the 13th.

Southern Arizona Fairs
In the southern half of the state, there are two fairs that stand out among the rest. First is the Pima County Fair in Tucson. This massive event has everything you could want, good food, live music, rides galore, and a massive FFA & 4H installation that has to be seen to be believed.
Lastly is the Cochise County Fair, hosted in Douglas. This is the perfect fair to check out if you prefer the slower pace of life, focusing more on agricultural efforts and tight knit community than sprawling rides and mass spectacle.
