Save Money At Arizona QuikTrip’s With This One Trick

There may be too many mobile pay apps. I shouldn't have to sign up for 40 different apps because I want to easily pay in a store. The worst part is, most of these apps offer no benefit for their use. You may be able to pay 0.5 seconds faster, but is that worth all that space on your phone?

QuikTrip is flipping the script with their new app feature, QT Pay. While the app functions the same as many others, connecting with your checking account to allow you to easily pay for gas and convenience items right from your phone. Same as always, right? Wrong.

QT Pay has one leg up on the competition: there's an actual reward for using the app. When you open QT pay, you'll be asked to scan a QR code at the pump. If you do, and pay through that method, you'll save five cents per gallon on every fill-up.

Other gas stations have the same promotion, so what sets QuikTrip apart?  Their convenience. Rather, their convenience stores that they're known so well for. Paying for your snacks either on the app, or scanning the QR code in-store will gift you 5% off of your purchase. What a deal!
