Do you love animals? Are you looking to adopt one? Or maybe you are trying to find volunteer opportunities! The Tombstone Small Animal Shelter is always looking for volunteers and people to take home a cat or dog.

I got the opportunity to spend a day at the Tombstone Small Animal Shelter, and let me tell you, it's a hidden treasure. It is located off of Highway 80 and is very close to Tombstones historic district. They are a no kill, non-profit animal shelter, and everyone involved is a volunteer.

My Favorite Animals at the Tombstone Animal Shelter

During the few hours I was visiting I got to meet the volunteers, and of course, the animals. They have a variety of cats and dogs, but I want to tell you about a few of my personal favorites!

There was Albert, a sweet 8-year-old puppy who doesn't realize he's built like a tank.

Arrow and her brothers are three energetic kittens who spent a good amount of time crawling on my shoulders and rolling around in my lap.

Croissant is an energetic dog who's about a year and a half old. She was born at the tombstone animal shelter, and loves wagging her tail and giving kisses to visitors.
