The Carnival

This carnival is brought to Sierra Vista every year by the Fort Huachuca MWR. This event takes place in the spring and fall and has hundreds of visitors every day it's open. This carnival has rides (of course), as well as games, arts and crafts, vendors, free live music at the Centennial Pavilion, and a family day with lot's of activities for kids! With tons of things for every type of person, it's no wonder everyone in town stops by to be a part of the fun.

The carnival sells individual tickets, as well as all day wristbands that allows individuals to ride as many rides as they want. It is the perfect event for people of all ages, with vendors selling things such as fresh lemonade, funnel cakes, candy apples, pizza, puppets, pottery, toys for kids, and so much more.

Why do people love it?

We've been giving away tickets to the carnival this week, and while doing so we asked our audience what their favorite parts of the carnival are. When it comes to food, Facebook participants overwhelmingly said funnel cakes were their favorite, with fried Oreos being a close second. People's favorite rides are the Zipper, and the Ferris Wheel. Two very different experiences, with the same number of votes.

When it comes to people's absolute favorite part of the carnival, many members of our audience said that they love spending time with their family and friends. One Facebook user said-

I enjoy seeing family and friends at the festival... Everyone is in a great mood, so there is so much fun and laughter.

Other Facebook commenters said similar things, explaining that they love watching their kids, siblings, and grandkids smiling and enjoying the rides.
