The Real Reasons Arizona Gas Prices Keep Skyrocketing
We’re feeling the squeeze at the pump again. With the price of goods already rising every day, a sudden spike in gas prices is something we do not need right now.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs says she’s working every angle she can to bring the price at the pump down. Between the Iran conflict rattling global oil markets and California refinery closures, Arizona drivers are getting hit harder than most.

Bringing Prices Back Down
In a recent interview, Governor Hobbs told KTAR that she’s in talks with federal partners to look into ways to help lower gasoline prices as the conflict continues.
Since Arizona depends on California refineries, our state is especially vulnerable when supply dwindles and prices rise. Hobbs said her office is keeping a close eye on supply chain risks.
The sudden rise in fuel prices has added even more stress to Arizona families who are already drowning from the jump in the price of everything.
Hobbs is currently trying to give Arizona families some breathing room on the bigger cost‑of‑living concerns, keeping an eye on high fuel prices that are creating shock waves through everything from groceries to goods and services.
