Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Sonoita Vineyards Love Run

Pairing a 5K walk or run with delicious, locally crafted wine? Yes please. Sonoita Vineyards got my attention.

Love and wine pair nicely together this weekend as the Sonoita Vineyards Love Run 5k hits the vines. Walk or run and never forget to love the WINE you're with. If walking for the sheer love in the fresh air isn't enough incentive, pair it with a complimentary wine pour and I'm in.

This Love-Themed event features the scenic views of the Sonoita Vineyards. It's a timed event and will be scored by J3 Timing, but don't worry if you're just doing it for the sheer love of the event. You're still going to have a great time.

Registration is going on now. When you participate, you'll get a race-themed short sleeve white t-shirt which is included, or upgrade to a long-sleeved black t-shirt for just a few dollars more. Plus, you'll get a 15-ounce campfire mug with a quote that reads, "Love the Wine You're With".

Wine aficionados, I think that's worth fun right there. You'll also get a finisher medal, race photos, and you can see where you placed in the race with official results posted online. Kids under 18 are welcome to participate. Naturally, they won't get to imbibe in the wine pour, but you'll enjoy a family day in the vineyards.
