This Arizona Dog Beat Death Just To Find A Family
Dogs are man's best friend. We've known that for centuries, and the bond between the two has only grown stronger as the years pass by.
While we know how much we love dogs, we can't even fathom how they feel about us. They want us to love them, but sometimes they just can't find that affection.
Sometimes hitting your lowest point can bring you back to the top.
"So Happy That He Survived"
Earlier this year, in late July, the Arizona Humane Society received a call, and it didn't sound good. Phoenix police had responded to a call about a possibly wounded animal, but it was so much worse than they thought.
What they found, was two-year-old shepherd mix, Junum, who had attempted to jump a fence. Unfortunately for Junum, the fence was lined with wire, and the poor pup had impaled himself. When AHS found him, he had a massive cut across his abdomen. So massive, in fact, that his intestines were beginning to spill out.
Junum persisted.

Junum's Fur-ever Home
Luckily, the Humane Society found him just in time. He was taken immediately into surgery, where about five feet of his internal intestines were removed. After that, he spent a month in intensive care, fixing up anything that might be harming the brave young pup.
Finally, Junum recovered, and was ready to get back to playing, cuddling, and eating as many table scraps as he could. He was picked up almost immediately after recovery by a family in Buckeye, where he is now living his best life, with new best friends who will never leave his side.
