I love visiting museums. They let us see unique artifacts, learn about local history, and expand our understanding of the world around us. Southern Arizona is full of unique wildlife, rich history, and jaw-dropping beauty, and local museums help bring those stories to life!
From science to mining history, here are 3 museums in Southern Arizona that are worth checking out!

Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum
Located in Old Bisbee, the Mining and History Museum is one of my favorites to visit. As a Smithsonian-affiliated museum, it gives visitors a chance to look back in time and learn about life in early Arizona mining towns.
Exhibits cover Bisbee's copper-mining boom, local culture, the Industrial Revolution, and the people who helped shape the town. The museum does an excellent job of bringing local history to life, making it a must-visit stop for history lovers.
