10 Best (And Coziest!) Soups in Cochise County

When you think of "Arizona", do you also think of "Soup"? Spicy Mexican food, yes. Creamy tomato bisque, probably not.

As the weather changes and the summer heat gives way to a fall crispness, my heart and soul begin to crave the cozy comfort of delicious homemade soups.

Cochise County is lucky to have an array of tasty choices; each flavor is made with care and craftsmanship at local restaurants. Some of these dishes have been passed down from parent to child over generations, reaching perfection in a steaming-hot bowl of tasty goodness.

The range of flavors, ethnic qualities, and sometimes homegrown spices added to these simmering masterpieces make them a comforting delight to the senses on a crisp, fall day. Or any day, really, if you're as passionate about soup as I am.

How Was This List of Soups Created?

Before I get too deep in the soup here, I will fully admit this is a biased list. I didn't set out to create this list, but it sort of found me. It's by no means complete, and if you've got a favorite soup that isn't included here, please drop me a note and let me know what I should sample next.

Also, while I've tasted every soup on this list, I didn't get a photo of each one, so regrettably, some of the images are for illustration purposes only. The photos don't necessarily reflect the presentation you might find if you go to the restaurant and order a cup or bowl yourself.
