Boy’s and Girl’s Club Radiothon Highlights Az Tax Credit Funds!
The Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club is an organization that does its best to support young people and help them reach their fullest potential. There is a Boys and Girls Club in Sierra Vista with a variety of programs, including Flag Football, Keystone Club, and other activities that benefit youth both mentally and physically! Every year during February, the Boys' and Girls' teams up with Val from K101 to talk about donations and what their programs are all about!
The Radiothon!
The Radiothon happens every Tuesday during Val's morning show for the entire month of February!! As I am writing this in 2026, the Radiothon was sponsored by Ed Morse Automotive! During the radiothon, members of the Boys and Girls Club come in and share upcoming events, projects, and programs that are available for youth in our community. Not only that, they talk about the Arizona Tax Credit program, a program that helps you choose where your tax money is going!

Tax Deductible Donations!?
Arizona has a state tax credit program that allows you to choose where your money goes! Let's say you owe money this tax season, and you donate to an organization partnered with the AZ Tax credit program, like the Boys and Girls Club, you can then reduce the amount of money you owe on your taxes!
For the 2025 tax season, married couples filing jointly can donate up to $987, and single filers can donate up to $495! When you donate to The Boys'and Girl's Club, you're then using your tax money to help fund afterschool programs, summer camps, and tutoring programs for kids in your community. If you want to donate, a tax credit is available for the 2025 season until April 15th! Any donations made later on in the year will count towards next year's tax season! If you want to see what donating can do for your taxes, speak to your tax expert about all the possible reductions you can get through this program.
If you want to help support children in Cochise County, donate to the Boys and Girls Club! You can donate through their website! They also have step-by-step instructions and any needed information available there as well! Any money you donate through the Arizona Tax Credit Program is being used to change the lives of young people in your community, without costing you!
